Here is an example on how to measure a handle that sticks out in back of a transom.
To measure the vertical height of the handle (Dimension B between the blue lines) use a straight edge at the height of which the motor is mounted and measure to the top of the handle. To measure the horizontal distance (Dimension A between the red lines) measure the distance from the edge of the motor bracket to the inner part of the handle. For the placement of a trolling motor measure from the motor bracket to the shaft of the electric motor. *Note: If this measurement is less than 11" the gas motor may hit the plastic on the guards.
